How to get to LimeTime when you arrive
- Viracopos Airport
95km - 90 minutes
- This airport is actually in Campinas, another city. If you're flying with Azul Airlines, they offer a free shuttle bus to Barra Funda Station almost every 30 minutes, from 6am until midnight. For other airlines, look for VB Transportes Bus. It takes you to Tiete Metro Station every 30 minutes from 7am until 9pm for 18 Reais. If you haven't booked your flight yet, prefer another one.
- Guarulhos Intl. AIrport
27km - 50 minutes
There are several ways to come from the International Airport. The easiest but more expensive is by taxi. Just outside the exit gate you'll see the Taxi Booth. Tell them our address and you'll pay a fixed rate at the booth. Should be around 100 Reais.
Another option is an executive bus called "Airport Bus Service". You can take this one to Paulista Ave. / Maksoud Hotel. It costs 36,50 Reais. When you get off the bus, turn right and walk straight for 3 blocks. Turn left on Carlos Sampaio, walk down until the end and turn right on Treze de Maio. The hostel will be right in the middle of the block.
Important: The first bus departs at 6am and the last one at 11pm. If you're arriving past that time, you can take the bus to Praça da República at mid-night, 1:30am, 3am or 4:30am. From there, take a taxi to the hostel.
Tip: Some guests told us that drivers have been dropping them off at LimeTime after Maksoud Hotel. Let them know you're coming here and you might get lucky. Tip the driver if you will.
Cheaper than that you can take the small version of that bus that goes to the Tatuapé Metro Station (Red Line). Take the train towards "Barra Funda" and change to the blue line on "Sé". Then take the train towards "Jabaquara" and get off at "Vergueiro". It's 8 stops away. Take the "Joao Julião" exit, the one to the left. Walk up that street and turn right on Treze de Maio. The hostel will be right in the middle of the block.
- Congonhas Airport
8km - 15 minutes
- The best idea is to take a taxi to the hostel. It should cost around 30 Reais and no longer than 30 minutes. To get to the subway you would also have to take a taxi. You'd waste time and not save enough money. One tip: Take the taxi at the Departing area. On Arrivals there are too many people and too little cars.
- Tiete Bus Terminal
5km - 30 minutes
- The best suggestion is to take the subway. It's inside the bus station. Take it towards "Jabaquara" and get off at "Vergueiro". It's 8 stops away. Take the "Joao Juliao" exit, the one to the left. Walk up that street and turn right on Treze de Maio. The hostel will be right in the middle of the block. If you still prefer to take a taxi, it should cost around 35 reais.
